       Development

       of

       Sharpe's Pottery Buildings


The Sharpe's Visitor and Resource Centre accommodation is focused around a bottle kiln - one of only nine remaining in the area. A sensitive conversion has taken place to ensure efficient use of the space, with access for all, whilst retaining its industrial character.

The community of South Derbyshire and the surrounding area are able to access archives, photographs and educational materials. The Centre enables people to discover more about the historic, cultural and artistic environment of the area in a setting of past industrial importance.
